All About Tags | Let's Get Hopping #16

Hello, and welcome to the last Let's Get Hopping Blog Hop for 2018.

This month's hop is all about gift tags. Who doesn't love a gift tag? Not only are they the easiest way to dress up a wrapped present or gift bag but add a card base a perhaps a little Designer Series Paper and you have a beautiful card. December craft for me is usually always all about tags for Christmas gifts so I've taken this opportunity to make a start on tags for this years gifts.

I have a confession to make, I'm one of "those" people who has a colour theme for their Christmas wrapping each year and this year my colour combination of choice is Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist and Poppy Parade. I also wanted to personalise my tags this year so I chose to go with a monogram style tag using the Large Letter Framelits from Stampin' Up!.

Because I wanted my tags to be the focal point of my gift wrapping this year, I've kept the wrapping paper simple and am sticking with plain white paper and with touches of kraft. For smaller sized gifts Stampin' Up! offer so many packaging options to make gift wrapping quick and easy. A few of my gifts this year are the perfect size to fit in either a Kraft Pillow Box or an Acetate Card Box so once I had finished creating my tags, wrapping these gifts was done in no time.

You may have also noticed I've pulled out my new favourite Textured Impression Embossing Folder to add a little extra detail to the background of my gift tags. How great does this Tin Tile pattern look with the simple die cut letter and holly berries? A little traditional touch to a modern Christmas colour combo.

Thank you for joining me again this month. Myself and the gals from Let's Get Hopping will be taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period so there will be no hop in January but we'll be back in February with more fun and inspiring projects.
Next up in the hop is the fabulous Jennifer Frost. You are going to love the tags she has created this month.
