Hi and welcome back
Now I know we are still in September but this week I thought I'd take inspiration from the team at TGIF Challenges and make a start on my holiday preparations.
My children are extremely lucky to have some amazing teachers and each Christmas we like to thank them for a great year with some yummy homemade treats. So when I saw the cute Copper Tea Tins in the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalogue I immediately thought they would be the perfect treat packaging.
As the treats are a Christmas gift I decided to wait for the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue before making a start on decorating them and the wait was well worth it, as the rich tones of Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide in the Joyous Noel suite perfectly compliment the copper coloured tins.
One of my favourite things about the new holiday catalogue is that so many of the different suites and bundles work so well together.
On this tin the deer and sentiment came from the Dashing Deer bundle and the Detailed Poinsetta Thinlit dies were used to create the little cluster of leaves and holly.
And this tin was decorated using elements from the Merry Christmas to All suite, the Detailed Poinsetta Thinlit dies and the Festive Farmhouse suite.
I really enjoyed creating these tins and am glad to have made a start on my Christmas packaging. Hopefully I can keep on going with my Christmas craft preparation and be a bit more organised this year.
