Sketch Challenge | Let's Get Hopping #49

Hello everyone and welcome to the last Let's Get Hopping blog hop for 2021! Is it just me or did the last year just fly by. This month we are all participating in our very first sketch challenge. Working from a sketch is a great starting point when creating a project and this is the sketch we have all based our projects on.

This sketch is based on a portrait oriented card however when I approaching this challenge I thought I share how you can adapt a card sketch into a different format as well as give you an idea for any last minute Christmas gifts.

As you can see I've adapted the sketch to create a tag to put on a bottle of wine. Obviously the dimensions are a little different to allow for the narrow tag and I've changed the circle on the sketch to a label shape, but the sketch made it so easy to work out the layout for this tag. Also the soft colours from the Whimsy & Wonder DSP coordinated beautifully with the wine bottle label.

Next up in the hop is my beautiful friend Mikaela Titheridge from the UK. I can't wait to see what fabulous project she has created for us.
